Hi Guys,
It came to my attention that there were a few users that tried to open up VPL and got an error.
This is because I made changes on or last update to install VPL, CCH Publications, and Tax Find locally on the server instead of on the network. Tested on my account and didn’t have any issues but I never use it so when I open it it gave me the new path to the nfo instead of the old network path.
This is only for DC side YK side is the same as it’s only 1 office and makes no difference wheather it’s local or network install.
It’s an easy fix just have to open up one of the help nfo files that are on the network drive in VPL > tools> options> infobase directory and set to c:\VPL\NFO
That should do the trick and everyone can choose the NFO’s properly and open from the proper location.
Tax Find doesn’t have NFO’s and just opens with its default content and same goes with CCH Publications.
